Villa Oleander is in the 11th century medieval village of Mougins, the gastronomic capital of the Cote d’Azur, home to numerous art galleries and surrounded by excellent golf courses, including Royal Mougins and Mougins-Cannes.

The villa has wonderful views across to the Old Village and is just 15 minutes walk to its heart. Thanks to great road links, Mougins is only 20 minutes from Nice Airport, yet retains its peaceful village charm. There are an array of beaches within easy reach, the closest is just 6Km away at Cannes.

Mougins is perfectly placed to explore the Cote d`Azur`s famous trio of Monaco, Cannes and St Tropez. Inland are the neighbouring medieval villages of Grasse, Valbonne, St Paul de Vence, and Biot, to name just a few. Immediately to the east is the 427 hectare National Parc de La Valmasque and Lake Fontemerle.

At a height of 260 metres, Mougins is one of the jewels of Provence. It is famed for its narrow winding streets filled with restaurants and art galleries. Pablo Picasso chose to spend his last 15 years here. In more recent years, the Michelin Star restaurant, le Moulin de Mougins, and the luxury hotel and spa, Le Mas Candille, have cemented Mougins’ reputation for excellence.

Mougins is fortunate to have the excellent Musée de la Photographie, Musée de l`Automobiliste, and Musée d`Art Classique, and each year hosts the International Gastronomy Festival of Mougins.
